Tea and Symphony

Milk Tea. The perfect combination of a healthy and exciting drink.

At last, I’ve gotten a chance to sip a (huge) glass of milk tea at Tea and Symphony located at UC Banilad building across Gaisano Country Mall.

This is just a silly theory though. But I think the name is derived from the song Tea and Sympathy by Jars of Clay. I love this song very much! But I guess they just changed the name to Symphony instead of sympathy for very obvious reasons. But yes, I love the name of the milk tea shop :3

Tea and Symphony is the perfect place for milk tea aficionados like me. They’ve got lots of flavors to choose from – combination of toppings, mashup of flavors, and some non-tea drinks as well. I love how you can choose the level of sweetness for your milk tea. ♥

I’ve introduced my friends to tofu. And now, they’ re loving it! Me? As always. ^^ They’ve got salt and pepper and wasabi flavors. Whit Whew!

Hokkaido Milk Tea ♥

Obviously, my cup is the empty one :3

Arf Arf!: Dog Agility and Cuteness

Wew! Dog’s in action!

This was the perfect event for a person who loves dogs and who loves to take pictures at the same time!

This was 2-day event held at Asian Town I.T. Park. A friend of mine referred this event, because I think this was organized by Istorya.net Photography Club (if I’m not mistaken).

Anyhow, there were contestants from Cebu, Manila and Davao. They were in teams, because the contest was not jut about the teamwork between dog and handler, but between fellow dogs and handlers as well! There was an individual course contest and a relay contest.

I wasn’t able to finish the (and start) the event because I had to go home at an earlier time. Too bad, I was slacking off all Sunday afternoon, so I wasn’t able to shoot the 2nd day of the event as well. Anyhow, enjoy some of the pics I took. I was  a bit far and wasn’t able to bring a telephoto lens, so I compensated by taking portraits of these beautiful creatures instead! :D

Enough of this natural cuteness! Let the ACTION begin!

Kagura

I am very big fan of Japanese food. Well, actually, anything Japanese.

Anyhow, a friend of mine brought me to this fancy restaurant. The food’s great! The ambiance is perfect, especially to people

who are really fond of Japanese food. There were lotsa food to choose from and I had a very hard time choosing! LOL.

Anyhow, here’s a peek at the food from Kagura.

Weapon of choice: Xperia X10 mini pro

Hey Kid.

This was taken during my first street photowalk with a bunch of friends into photography.

This is famous Carbon Market in Cebu.

It’s been awhile since I toured around the area. This place is famous for having almost everything you need at affordable prices.

Anyhow…

The place was very busy even though it was still early in the morning. The vendors were getting ready with all their commodities while their  buyers were busy looking for their cheap finds. There was a mix amount of emotions as we went by. Some would want their pictures to be taken while some don’t. This was my first to do street photography, so I am not adept with the knowledge on how to handle this. But I did use my common sense though. I asked for permission. If I notice agitation, I would not take their picture.

Here are some of my decent pics.

And yes, this post is dedicated to the kids in Carbon Market.

Although I could see industrious kids helping their parents earn a living, it’s also disheartening to see them work early in the morning. They should have been sleeping or playing. And yes, this is the story of a market in a third-world country.

The Glamour Project

I love taking photographs of people. I may not know the exact reason why, but I guess it’s because taking a picture of them captures that particular emotion that could last a lifetime. *Cheesy*

Anyhow, here’s some of my shots taken at Talamban Leisure Center, Cebu City. It’s at 1101 Kalubihan Talamban Cebu City, Cebu City 6000, Philippines. It was so nice of the owner to let us use the venue for these glamour shots! :)

And thanks also for Joie and his friends for lending us their equipments!

I will be posting more of these soon! For the Behind the Scenes shots, stay tuned for them as well!
